Getting Ready for Your Charter

We want you to have the best experience possible. Here's everything you need to know before your trip with Boneyard Fishing Charters.

What to Bring

  • Sunblock (reef-safe preferred)
  • Polarized sunglasses
  • Hat or visor
  • Camera or phone for photos
  • Small cooler with drinks and snacks
  • Beer and wine coolers are welcome
  • Seasickness medicine (if needed)

What NOT to Bring

  • Bananas (it's bad luck!)
  • Hard liquor
  • Recreational drugs
  • Large coolers (leave in your car for fish)

Note: Please secure all personal items. We are not responsible for lost belongings.

Tackle & Gear

All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing gear provided. Just show up ready to fish!

Bait & Ice

Fresh bait and plenty of ice included. We keep your catch cold and fresh all day.

No License Needed

Our charter license covers all passengers. No need to purchase a fishing license.

Flexible Departure

Departure times vary based on weather, season, and your arrangements with the captain.

Sunrise Marina

We depart from Sunrise Marina in Port Canaveral. Snacks and drinks available at the marina shop.

Fish Cleaning

We'll clean, fillet, and bag your catch. Bring a large cooler in your car to take it home!

Pro Tip: Seasickness Prevention

We recommend taking seasickness medicine, especially for first-timers and younger children. For best results, take it the night before AND again in the morning. This helps ensure the experience is fun and enjoyable for everyone. Common options include Dramamine or Bonine, available at any pharmacy.

Booking & Policies

Deposit & Payment

A $200 credit card deposit is required to hold your scheduled date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least one week prior to your scheduled date to receive a full refund. If we cancel due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or can reschedule.

Custom Trips

All trips can be customized to your preferences. Want to target specific species or try different techniques? Just ask!

Gratuity

Customary 20% gratuity for the captain and mate is not included in the trip price and is greatly appreciated for great service.
