Trip Types

Full Day Offshore (9 Hours)

On a full day fishing trip you will have the best odds of catching the most fish, and the most species.  A full day allows time for the captain to locate the fish and to try some different areas for multiple species.  We will target the species most likely to provide the best action.  Species include King mackerel, several species of shark, cobia, dolphin fish, sailfish, barracuda, bonito, black-fin tuna, wahoo, amberjack, almaco jack, trigger fish, porgies, sea bass, flounder, red snapper, vermillion and other snappers, gag grouper, scamp and other groupers.

3/4 Day Offshore (7 Hours)

On a 7 hour fishing trip you will have the same opportunities as a full day trip without it being such a long day on the water.  While our range and fishing styles may be limited a bit you still have an outstanding chance to catch multiple species and our fast boat still allows the captain to fish several depths of water.

Half Day Offshore (5 Hours)

On a half day trip your captain will take you to do whatever style of fishing that will produce the most action while allowing the most time fishing. The goal on a half day is to find action quickly.  Most of the time on a half day we will be running to reefs and wrecks within 25 miles of the port.  This provides more time fishing and less time driving around.  You end up with about two hours driving in the boat and two hours fishing.

Shark Fishing (6 Hours)

We don't fish for small sharks.  When we go shark fishing we fish for monsters.  This is for guests that want to battle a large fish, usually hundreds of pounds.  We may get some photos of the fish in the water but these are not the kind of sharks you can hold up for a photo, they are the kind of sharks most people never get to the boat because they are too large. We do not keep any sharks.  If you want fish to eat we recommend one of our different trips where you may also catch a shark but we are not targeting them specifically.

Daytime Swordfish (11 Hours)

This is your opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetime. Fishing for swords is a long waiting game, watching the rods closely for the sign of a bite.    Swordfish usually hang out near the bottom, about 1500′deep. To catch them, we deep drop two carefully rigged baits all the way down near the bottom using 12 pound weights on two separate rods.  We can usually get about an hour of bottom time on a swordfish drift and then it’s time to wind everything up and try again.  Depending on the day and conditions, we can usually get anywhere from 4-6 drops on a standard sword fishing charter.  We do not hand-reel swordfish in, we use LP electric reels.  If you are determined to catch one of the most prized and challenging fish in the ocean, then we welcome you aboard to hunt down a swordfish.

Seasonal Mahi Focused (10 Hours)

These are specialized fishing trips for those who want to dedicate a day to catching mahi-mahi a.k.a dolphin fish. Most of the time this involves traveling good distances to find strong current edges & weed-lines far out in the Gulf Stream. This fishery has potential to be good year round but April – December seems to be the best months. On mahi trips you also have a decent chance at catching sailfish, black-fin tuna & wahoo.

Seasonal Bottom Fishing (10 Hours)

This trip is for those who only want to bottom fish. Bottom fishing is usually best with 2 or 3 anglers because conditions typically limit us to fishing 2 anglers at a time. We can take up to 4 people and everyone just has to trade out turns.  Groupers, amberjacks and snapper species will be our main targets. Bottom fishing is best May – December with May, June and December being the best months for grouper.  These are big fish, much different than the groupers caught on Florida’s West Coast or the ones caught in South Florida.

Seasonal Deep Drop (10 Hours)

We fish deep, usually 500 to 900 feet of water, targeting tasty golden tile and yellow edge grouper. We also catch other deep-water surprises occasionally. Deep dropping is done with electric reels and heavy sinkers.  On a deep drop trip we run 2 electrics while stemming the tide so if you have several anglers you will need to take turns. We do commonly get mahi mahi swimming up to the boat while deep dropping.

Seasonal Other-Side Yellowfin Tuna (up to 13 Hours)

The ultimate fishing trip & the one we always look forward to most. When the weather and the fish cooperate, this trip has priority over all others.  We leave very early in the morning and travel 80+ miles to the other side of the gulf stream where fishing  opportunities are greatest. Our main target on these trips are yellowfin tuna. We will use our high-powered radar to track birds that feed on the baitfish the tuna push to the surface. Marlin, mahi, black fin, skip jack, wahoo and triple tail are all very common catches while yellowfin tuna fishing. We try to leave the dock around 5am and return by 6:30pm. Ride time each way is 2 to 3 hours depending on sea conditions. The tuna fishing starts up in April and can be good into September.

Space Launch Viewing / Eco Tour (3 Hours)

If you want to view a rocket launch on the Space Coast close-up from the water, this is your opportunity.  Viewing choices include the Banana or Indian rivers adjacent to the Kennedy Space Center or just off the beach with direct sight to the launch pads.  You will enjoy your time on the water with viewing opportunities for KSC launch facilities, manatee, dolphin, turtles and other wildlife abundant in our local ocean and estuaries.  We can accommodate up to six guests for this relaxing trip.

Our Daytime Airboat Tour (2-3 Hours)

Enjoy fresh air and wildlife in its natural habitat, while skimming the surface of the St. Johns river in our airboat. During your tour you will have the opportunity to see snakes, herons, ducks, alligators, turtles, cattle, horses, wild hogs and more.

Our Nighttime Airboat Tour (2-3 Hours)

Having the same wildlife viewing opportunities as the day time, our evening tours increase the odds of getting closer to many of the alligators and other weary creatures.  This is a nice option in the summer to avoid the scorching heat and get out on the water while it is cooler.
