Contender previously built their own sea chest in house out of fiberglass. They now use Best Marine sea chests in their boats as standard. These are a lot nicer than the ones they were making IMO so that was a good move by them. I am now considering the sea chest because they are smaller and will probably improve the raw water source by removing the air.
