The Furuno 165T-PM542LM pocket-mount transducer will be a game changer. My 1Kw transducer can mark bottom over 2000 feet but this 3Kw transducer should allow me to see a thermocline over 1000 feet down and mark fish thousands of feet down off the bottom. I'll be able to see tilefish lips in 700 feet down in the mud :) It has a low, medium and DFF3D elements all built into one unit.
